Starter works great. Machined well. Direct match on Honda Element & 5 year warranty. Trust me, you do not want to do this job a second time on Honda Element. Also, use the remove the manifold method unless you have tiny monkey paw strength hands. Working great months after install in freezing weather.

I changed the starter on my honda accord back in February 2024. It's November of the same year (a reference for future readers) now and it's still going fine. I took a point out because I felt that it was hesitating a little during the first 2 or 3 months. It hasn't given me any problems, otherwise. Keeping fingers crossed!

This was a good starter, I was skeptical as it is lighter than the factory starter that came with my '04 Accord Ex. The thickness of the walls was a concern but it married nicely to the flywheel; the original bolts fit this so I was glad that I didn't have to buy new ones. That 17 mm bolt took 3 days to break loose with penetrating oil, yet old bolts were no problem fitting back. Tightening the bolts was a guess as my torque wrench would not fit in the small space allotted for clearance. I suggest anyone with a '03-'05 Honda get this as it is much more affordable than auto shops or taking it to a repair shop. Just get the lubricant to break those bolts loose and be patient. You'll also appreciate your vehicle a lot more.

My car was showing signs of a bad starter. If was a matter of time for it to go out completely. unit worked as it should and when I first cranked the car I could tell how energetic it was to turn the engine over. My old starter made the car sound like it is sleepy with a stuffy nose. The new one felt much better.I never replaced a starter in my life before and relied on videos online. Take your time and you will be able to do it on your own. The bolts may be tight on your car so a breaker bar might help to keep it near. I didnt have a breaker bar but I applied a good amount of force to break the bolts lose. Also for similar K24 engine owners, I decided to replace my starter from the top by removing the exhaust manifold, it was very easy.

This part was a perfect fit for my 2004 Honda Accord 2.4L. It looked almost identical to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part. The motor is incredibly quiet, and the car starts up right away -no more hard starts! Delivery was fast. I am very hopeful about its long-term durability.

The starter worked and got our car back on the road. The installation was not that difficult, so far so good. I will update this review at a later time to see the longevity of the product.
