Got the package. Installed in 20 minutes. Works great. Fantastic replacement for my SV840 series Kholer (Courage 7000) 27hp engine on my Bad Boy. Sounds much better than the factory one that the shaft broke on. Has plenty of power to turn the engine. Perfectly compatible with my model engine.

So far so good. Installed this aftermarket starter to replace the original starter in a 2011 Cub Cadet LTX1050 with 24 HP Kohler Courage Engine that has approximately 500 hours of use. The original starter experienced a catastrophic failure with the center bolt that runs through the armature snapped. Cost to replace with an original manufacturer replacement part from Cub Cadet would have been approximately 6 times greater than the amount paid for this compatible product. Installation was fast and easy, and the engine started up on first try. As stated above, no complaints so far but am only giving 4 out of 5-star rating because I need to further assess the durability of this product. Given the lawn tractor's age, accumulated hours of use and other unrelated mechanical problems, I decided to go with this much less expensive replacement part. Time will tell if I made the right decision.

Works perfect with the Kohler KT725 engine on Cub Cadet XT1-LT46. No issues starting.

This part came exactly as described on the Amazon website. It was a perfect fit for my Kubota tractor/lawn mower. It was early to install, started up my engine right away! Very please with this and the ease of purchase.

This one is like the Original

This was a direct fit replacement for my Craftsman DGS 6500 garden tractor. It seems to be well made and was a simple swap out. I lined up the gear teeth with the flywheel, but it still ground the flywheel a bit. It seemed to sync up on its own and has been working with no issues.

These Starters are VERY! well built and the cost is well below what you would spend at a Outdoor Power Equipment store. To add to that?, these Starters are just as good as a "Re-Built" if not better in my opinion. HIGHLY! recommend.

On 3/11/26, I installed this new Durautos starter. There is only 2 bolts holding the starter on, that used a number 10 size metric socket and I also had to take off the Hotwire on the bottom right side of the starter with a 7/16 box end wrench, I also had to take off the oil filler clamp that bolts on to the starter and for that I used a number 6 metric box end wrench. Those were the only tools I needed to complete the job. I didn't even have to take off the hood.Then to do it right, I took out my old battery and went to Sam's Club with my old battery, so I woundn't get a $20.00 core charge and bought a new Lawn Mower battery that comes with a 6 month warranty, price $42.88 plus tax and installed it under the seat in my Toro LX 500 in 2 minutes. Now, as soon as you turn the key it starts up instantly. Life is so beautiful when your riding mower works correctly !!!Also, doing it myself I saved money, so I took my beautiful wife Ana out for dinner.
