My car starts without problem
Seems like a great product, but it has failed to engage flywheel fully a few times.BUT it does work well.Time will tell…
Perfecto muy bueno
Installed this starter in my wife’s 2013 6 cylinder Honda Accord and also performed Technical Service Bulletin 16-002 by turning the torque converter 1 bolt hole clockwise (it really is a simple procedure just make sure to put your Accord up on jack stands for easier access). There are YouTubes available for both the TSB as well as removing the old starter and installing the new one. So far the starter is working well with no grinding noises (which is the reason for the TSB) and it even seems to turn the engine over a little faster. It’s also ok to use the shim that was on the old starter as long as it was not damaged when removed with the old starter. You may also purchase a new shim on Amazon as well. It is part no. 31270-RJA-A01. It may be called a gasket but it is actually a shim.
