Works great for my 2012 traverse exact fit and solid design.
Super simple. A little different but in a great way. I'm impressed to say the least
Works awesome

I received a starter in QuickTime but comparing it with the original that came out of the 2010 Chevy Traverse I noticed that the gear didn't seem to be spring loaded it's sat up all the way extended. This is a big difference from the original as it sits down on the shaft and when engage it springs up to engage the flywheel. So instead of installing this part I went to the parts store just to confirm that their part looked like my original which it did The price from the store was almost $300. That's a big difference but I feel it's worth every penny for the assurance of putting in the right part and not having to go through all the trouble again to get to the starter in this vehicle which is very difficult.
Very happy. Works and fit great.
Works very well on my 2012 gmc acadia denali.
So far it's great, install was difficult but only because of the location of where the starter is located behind exhaust and engine mount!
This worked perfectly for my 2013 Impala. With all the miles on my Impala, I wasn't keen on spending $250 for the recommended starter from auto-part stores. This one was only $65 when I got it and what a value. What's more, this starter looks EXACTLY like the OEM one that was on my car, making it a perfect replacement.I can't speak for durability as it's only been in for a few days, but it cranks quickly.Installation was fairly easy in my car. For anyone else with an 2013 or similar impala, you can just remove the exhaust muffler upfront, and a few connectors (look up videos) and that will give you the room you need to swap it out.I'll update my review if it fails.
Hated the job putting it in but it solved the starting problem and was identical to the original starter.
This product works great it’s pretty strong n quick been three months still going strong.
2012 Buick Enclave Starter 167k miles. Major improvement to the lagging starter issue, instant start. Well worth the money and effort.
Worked wonderfully.
Very nice
I haven’t had any issues with it so far I purchased it. It was in stone. It works what would be cool is if they had like installation instructions like if the vendor had a website that’s like hey here’s where you can see the installation instructions for your vehicle that would be great which is really the only reason it didn’t get five stars but as far as the product itself, it’s great
That this item is a great buy, works really good and if your look for one , buy this one
I got my car running again no issues with part good price too , very sturdy dropped it and it still works
Boatrip Starter17986 New Starter Replacement for Chevy Traverse 09-17, GMC Acadia 07-16, Buick Enclave Lacrosse, Cadillac SRX XTS STS, Impala 12-20, Pontiac Saturn Suzuki 3.0L 3.6L V6 Engine OE#: 12645298.Installed on 2012 Buick Lacrosse 3.6 L V6(Sept 1, 2025)1. Works perfectly2. Looks close to OEM3. Not too difficult to install with the proper tools. Very tight space to install. Videos verify the tight fit. It would be easier to install if the oxygen sensor on the front catalytic converter was 1st removed to allow more space. Also, the front catalytic could also be removed for additional space if needed. However, the catalytic gaskets might need to be replaced..Concerns about some negative reviews:Several reviewers said their new starters failed after a few months. I will give a 4 star review initially, but will update to a five after a reasonable time period of proper operation.
Wirk & fit like it should
Starter went out in our Acadia. This one is a quarter of the price from our local parts store. I assumed you get what you pay for. That is not the case on this one. Exact same and works perfect. Had to wait a couple days for delivery but saved almost 200 dollars by buying from here. This will be my 1st place to look in the future.
