SERTDOG The starter went out on my 2013 Honda Civic. I took the vehicle to a nationally recognized automotive repair shop and they replaced the starter with a rebuilt trash starter which didn't even last a week. I was sick of messing around with the starter so I ordered the original replacement from Amazon. It was fast and simple as pie because Amazon let's you know before you order that the part fits you vehicle. I looked at a youtube video and easily did the replacement myself that was about a month ago and my Honda Civic starts and runs like brand new.

W. I had this installed by a mechanic for about $160 and a tip, you'll understand the tip if you know where your starter is. Its been working well and I will try to update this review in a few months. But this does work and fit on a 2013 CIVIC LX COUPE as well

J. Installation was difficult, but so far it has worked - two months going. Will return later to say how long it is lasting. Original went 12 years.

r.a. I usually don't leave a lot of reviews on Amazon but I have to say I got this as a replacement starter for the stock one that died for my Civic and holy crap This thing is amazing it starts up sounding like a race car hella fast. Love it!

M.T. Fit my 2012 civic coupe perfectly. Could instantly tell a difference starting. My old starter was on its way out but the new starter turns the car over so much quicker. Great price, looks to be made of decent materials. Two weeks with the new starter , no issues.

W. Had this installed about 3 months ago on my 2014 Civic and it works great, so far. The mechanic warned me that Hondas don't really do well with aftermarket starters, but, so far, no issues. Car starts on first push every time. Honda wants over $500 for OEM starter, so this is a great value if it lasts. I will update this if it goes out before I sell my car. (I found the correct part number in my owners manual).
